Rosli Dhoby was
a 16 years old student who study in Methodist English School in Sarawak. He was
a regular boy who cycle to school every day with full of enthusiasm which for
him, learning is mesmerizing. Moreover, dew to his behavior in learning, he had
become a very mature young person where he able to wrote a very deep and
beautiful literature in bahasa. Despite that, every people around him able to
cope comfortably because of his behavior, and respect towards other who he
speak with. During his year of leaving in 18 March 1932 until the day of execution
in 2 March 1950, he had a very beautiful family who his father was Dhoby Buang
and his mother was Habibah Haji Lamit. He is not the only son in the family
where he had another young brother who named was unable to detect and and his elder sister. Furthermore,
he was also a member of Rukun 13. During his absent in the group, he became a
person who has the highest bravery of all where in 1959, his the one who have
the bravery to stab the British second governor who his named was Sir Duncan
Stewart using a dagger named “balok”. The dagger was not an ordinary dagger, it
was dagger which was poisonous.
